I didn't wait for USCIS because I knew it would never arrive. I went to the SSA the next day of receiving my EAD with my documents and applied. Just before I gave the agent the form, I asked her to check if USCIS had applied for me (as i instructed them to) and she said there was nothing on the system. I received my SSN a week after visiting the SSA

@chris clark after receiving my EAD I waited two for a ssn to come in the mail but it never showed, I called the office they said that they are not seeing any information for me on their system from uscis, so I went to the office and apply for it, a week later I got it, then about 2 months later I saw another ssn in the mail, I wasn't worry because it contains the same number. in September I got approved for AOS, when the greencard arrived, a day later I saw a next ssn in my mail but this time it was a unrestricted card, same number. in all I got 3 card from social security

@shanikay p that’s what am going to do bcz immigration do things at there own pace and I don’t have quality time for that right now

I received my work permit September 11 2023 i also apply my social security card with work permit.but I didn't received yet my social security card anybody help me please?

@deep singh go by your nearest social security office and apply again they will give u a receipt
