Is this the first piece of mail that’s gone to your atty’s address? If they filed a G28 (I think that’s the form number), it’s a possibility they put they’re address also for all of your immigration documents. idk your situation, but this is common for Vawa cases, or if you don’t have a safe/reliable address. Or…….you could just ask them ☺️

Congratulations on getting your interview. If this is the first time that mail has gone to your atty’s address, that’s strange. Just ask him/her if you SS card is going to their address also.

in the G28 she marked that all immigration documents from USCIS to be sent to her office but i dont know if the SSN will be treated the same

I’m sorry I’m not much help. I got my SS card from the social security office & that was years ago. Hopefully someone in the same situation will have better answers. Good luck to you.

when you have a lawyer, all of that goes to her first... and she's the one to handle it to you. so, ask your lawyer. But as far as I know, I would advise you to book an appointment at the SS service. you might be waiting for days or months waiting for uscis. or with the SS directly, it will take you just 2 weeks

Hello Mohamed; I got my EAD on october 13 2021, I applied for Social Security on october 13 in my area, nov 6 I got appointment with social security and they say I will receive my card in 2 weeks. Nov 7 I received my Social security from Baltimore...(the card I did not applied for) and last week I receive another social security from baltimore again...it was the one I applied for. so they have both the same number only the date of application is different. So, wait for one month to see if you will receive one from baltimore or, apply for one.

he will received but if he's so in a rush, he can go and apply at the SS to get it in 2 weeks. The one he applied for will comes and he will have 2 different dates. My brother applied for his, it didn't come early so he booked an appointment with the SS and 2 weeks later, he got his SS in the mail. During his interview, he forgot his social at the Officer's table and order another one.. 2 weeks later, they sent him one and the next month received his SS he left at the Officer's table in the mail. So, he got 3 SS Card with 3 different dates.
