If we are going to apply at the social security office for the social security card before submitting AOS documents, what do we put in the i485 document where it asks if we want SSA to issue a social security card? If we are going to get it from the office, is it necessary to say yes again on the document? Please advise if you have gone through AOS, thank you!

yes click yes on the paper and it will come one time when u get everything else. some people say the social security card will come same time or couple days after

so I say yes on the document even if I’ll get it from the office instead?

once u click yes I think it gets mailed to you, so there will be no need to go to the social security office.. but u can always find out from other source a lawyer and or Google just to be sure. 💪🙂
