its a new SSN and it does take a while for it to verify under your name. it can take up to 6 months since there is no credit or record under bc its brand new. thet might just need a photo of it if anything. just to verify it belongs to you.

it is new?@Q U if yes it can take a few months. that was happened to me when I first had my social.i was applied for something they said my social is not in the system after 4 months they approved me with the same one.

what about a regular job??

They try to use systems like Experian or any other credit bureaus to verify your social…. in this case since it is new, you haven’t build any credit for this credit bureaus to know it belongs to you. usually what they ask for is a picture of the SSN and a photo ID to verify it’s legit and belongs to you. Regular Jobs like Amazon, you will just need to bring it in person and they take it.
