SS card
Can anyone tell me if after getting my permanent resident card, am I going to receive any other documents such as a Social Security Card? I already have one which I got 4 years ago but it has a stamp that states "valid only with authorized permit" or something. Thanks!

your ss won’t change, you need to go to a ss office with your green card to get a new ss card without restrictions

you just need to update your status at SS office. they will issue new card without stamp.
