I think it really depends on where your I130 is been processed, some service centers have longer wait times. I did both I130 and I129F ie K3. The latter was moved to California from Nebraska and CSC has a crazy wait time. Now waiting on K3 which has already passed the processing time, just had a case inquiry sent in. so my advice is go for the K3. You don’t have anything to lose. All the best.
