Social security card update
Hi All,
My current SSC has that restricted line because I got it years about after college under a OPT work visa. It says for work only. Now that I have an adjustment of status pending, can I apply for an updated card that no longer has this restricted line?

I think you can do that as soon as you received your green card. for the meantime you cant

oh I didn’t know that there are different types of SSN. wouldn’t it make complicated though? because you were also contributing to social escort benefit.
