You will have that until you receive your green card. It means that you are only authorized to work with your EAD for now.

@LivingbyFaith 2019 did Uscis send you your social security card or you went to the social security office to apply yourself?

@child of grace they sent it to me a few days after receiving the work permit….. I had marked that I need one when submitting the case initially

I just got my EAD card, but no SSN yet 😫

give it a few days(5/7) and see if it comes if not go to the office and apply @Aline Connors
