Never heard of USCIS doing that but I think NVC does it.

@William U Maybe that was it. I had not heard of this either. I would think 💭 there would be so much more work if they did this with people. I went down a rabbit hole today reading about immigration. I have an instagram about my cats that would be riveting for them to look at 😄

at some point in the process they do. e.g for the form ds-160 at NVC/embassy stage there's a section for you to provide social media accounts and links and that suggests they'd look into it on some level.

can't quite recall if it's uscis or nvc, but they do ask!

I had shut all my stuff down for my immigration process lol. not sure how deep they go (mine is only pictures of my family and a sprinkling of my very opinionated self on a few things they may not like).

just make sure you don't post anything against the United states or the president and you should be fine if they look in to your social media

this doesn’t happen till the NVC stage.

@God is good I am not worried about myself. I have one about cats, and I review RV’s and make furniture. So they are more then welcome to look at this. I have learned it is for people applying from their own countries.

@w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸 I am not worried. But they can look into people. I feel like everyone has posted things that would not be good…. I have read so many things in the past week. I am getting worried now about everything. I am at day 208 and feeling worried. I just need to be patient.

@Kingsley B trust me, I had 480 days of restless sleep… a lot of fears about little things and all of the unknown in the process. my guess is that they are not going to dig too deep unless you have a really shady story. try to stay calm… and believe me when I tell you that I felt thr exact same way and ended up coming out of it with a green card and just a simple RFE for a long form birth certificate. I hope it’s over for you soon!!!
