I heard its taking several months to get an interview after NVC has processed documents. Hopefully things start moving faster this year. I feel you frustration. I am still waiting on USCIS 😔

nvc already approved my case since February 14th 2023. almost a year now. I just don’t get it.

try searching how long are the CR1 interviews for Dominican Republic are taking. I believe on average they can take 3 weeks to 7 weeks for interview after transfer. I hope you get an interview very soon 🙏🏻

@rene Mendez hey got my interview scheduled finally. march 15. so happy. now I wanna know if they give you the visa the same day or you will have to wait a couple days.

@Mr I think they will let you know right there and then. I think they give you temporary visa to travel to the US.

@rene Mendez so as soon as USCIS approves and it's on to NVC, how long is that process typically until you have an interview at the Santo Domingo embassy? Assuming US Citizen sponsor, so no visa wait time

@Frankie S it really depends on the embassy in Sabto Domingo. It’s always different for each embassy. I am doing it though Bogota Colombia

@rene Mendez ok thanks, it looks like Santo Domingo is taking about 6 months to get to peoples' interviews, unfortunately.
