@Mensah Aminu My SIJS I-360 was approved on April 15, 2025 without deferred action. Later, I submitted Form G-325A (it was a waste of time in my opinion), but my biometrics were scheduled through my I-360 case like 2 weeks ago, not under the G-325A. I completed biometrics on May 13, 2026, and USCIS granted deferred action on May 14, 2026 connected to my previously approved I-360. So in my case, deferred action came later after SIJS approval and biometrics, not with the original approval notice. to summarize everything if uscis gives you an appointment for biometrics under your i-360 that means you're eligible for DA and they are gonna give it to you. i hope this information works for you.

@Steve Barrero how do you know about fingerprints?it's through the case update or letter?and also it's just your fingerprint or also your guardian?

@abu shisir I found out about biometrics because USCIS had mailed me a notice, but USPS returned it and I never received it. I noticed a “notice returned” update in my case, so I called USCIS and they helped me get a copy of the appointment notice (PDF). That’s how I was able to attend my biometrics appointment. The biometrics were only for me, not my guardian. My online status never clearly showed fingerprints taken, and deferred action was approved the day after biometrics.

@Steve Barrero I also don't apply for form G-325a .. because it's clearly shows that it's for renewal..I am not gonna apply for this..I know many people those are waiting for 6-7 months without any reply of form g-325a

did you call the USCIS and they provide a PDF of your biometric appointment?

@Steve Barrero did you call the USCIS and they provide you the PDF biometric because they sent me biometric notice but I didn’t receive yet. Should I call the USCIS in the send me PDF by email or in my Uscis account

@T R You have to call USCIS to request a copy of the notice for the biometrics, they'll send it to your email.
