what kind of notice did you lawyer receive? no, i just got the news today. i contacted my lawyer via email and waiting for a response

he received notices that my i485 and i485-j were approved. please keep us posted when you hear back from your lawyer.

I’ve got the same PD, RD, CRP and approval dates. also EB3. too much coincidence. I asked the lawyer but he ignored me. My assumption is they wouldn’t make so many mistakes (I’ve seen more cases). we probably had our visa numbers allocated while in CRP. that being said, since my lawyer wasn’t helpful. could you share what advice your lawyer provided?

You were current till only 17 days ago so it's likely fine.

to comments above, my lawyer (company lawyer) suggested to return card once I receive it since I am not current. but generally they have no idea. I contacted USCIS, they will call me back within 72 hours for further clarification. I also raised my concern to congressman. I will keep you posted.

Hi guys - I just got a consultation from an external lawyer. She mentioned a couple of things: yes, Green Cars is by mistake, you shouldn't receive it. There are three options to solve the issue: a) contact USCIS (worst option) b) write a letter to field office which approved your case and say it is wrong and revoke it immediately c) File i-90 to reopen the case. USCIS will revoke the GC and open the case again. She is inclined to option c because this is the most formal and correct way to request the fix of the issue.

hi All - yes, I have good news. I got help from senator and congressman and they contacted USCIS. I got written confirmation that my GC is not by mistake. visa was assigned to me when I was current and they approved in non-current period. external lawyer confirmed that I am good to go but need to keep this email for my records.
