@blessing Paul Hi! under what category did you file your vawa for EAD? is it C09 or C31? if it’s the C09 category then your EAD comes before your vawa application is approved but if you filed under the C31 category then you can only receive an EAD when your vawa has been approved, which is your situation?

I filed i485 6months ago, but filled for vawa 1.5years now

@blessing Paul Do you have a lawyer? or did you do the filing yourself? if you happen to have done the filing yourself and you have a copy of your EAD application form you can review that, you must have have checked a box for a particular category either C09 or C31, but if you have a lawyer then he or she will tell you what was done
