Should I apply for AOS now or wait
Hi my i-140 is approved and i am on F-1 visa and will be graduating this summer in August 2026. my plan was to apply for OPT. I heard from my friends that if I apply for the i-485 than I cannot apply for opt. since the visa bulletin is current for my category and country, and given my timeline, do you recommend I still should apply for i-485 or wait a few months and get the OPT and then apply i-485? Would appreciate guidance and openions thanks

you can apply for both i485 and OPT concurrently. One does not affect thr other

I applied for both. I first applied for my OPT before graduation and then applied for the I-485 when I became current and my OPT was not yet out. Do not wait, apply. They are two different things. Hold on to your OPT until you have your green card in hand.
