Friends,
I have an interview for I-485 after long time . Does the office provide interpreter services or do I have to bring someone with me? I sent form I-693 with form I-485. Do I need another one? And on the top of the interview notice written initial interview .
what does initial interview mean? And will I have another interview? Please, anyone who understands, can guide me and is there anyone who has the same experience?

According to what I have heard, you must bring an interpreter and if you took the case with a lawyer, bring him for that interview as well, because it is better to have more than not enough. I would believe that it is an interview to verify that it is you.

it might be one interview and it might be 2 depending on how you answer their questions. and for an interpreter, they know your first language is not English. they’ll definitely plan to bring in an interpreter for you. you can’t bring your own interpreter
