hey guys I have questions..igot msg from Nvc said doesn't meet minimum income...but I did good sponser but I don't understand why they said....that means my documents not qualified???that means I'm stuck????can some give me answer I'm confused

i call them but everytime they just say didn’t start u r (F2A) category at mumbai consulate. one of my friend has DQ December 2019 and he also still waiting for interview letter…

just think 2019-2020 DQ people are waiting for visa interview whats gonna happens with 2021-2022 DQ people they have to wait too long…🥲

Okay. For F2A, the people with DQ date in 2020 are still waiting for their interview letter. For IR1/CR1, people with DQ date in Aug-Sep 2021 are getting interview letters.

Do US citizens have priority during interviews?

Yes ofcourse

Visa category changes if your spouse is an US citizen. It is IR1 ie. Immediate Relative, the highest priority immigrant visa class in case of spouses.

@rup kaur I am following some other groups & forums too. People who are getting interview letters usually share their DQ dates. For IR1, it was September 2021. For F2A it was around Jan-Feb 2020.

Its quite a long wait period for your visa class F2A as of now (also for other visa categories due to backlog arised due to COVID). Hope they speed up the interview process.

Mumbai Embassy has issued some interview letters today. IR1 with DQ date in OCT 2021 have got interviews for mid April.

hai I applied for IR1 category. my case at the NVC now. I just submitted the documents on April 21st. I just checked this website and saw that the Mumbai embassy is like 8 months ahead of the expectations. If I assume I get my DQ around July when can I expect for the interview letter?

i saw few updates, march dq 2022 IL’s has been issued, did anyone get interview letters? cr1/ir1 category.. or f2a to ir1/cr1 category, Mumbai, India.

but about only f2a category on Mumbai embassy

Filed cr1 for my wife and got DQ on May 26, 2023. The interview will take place in Mumbai India. Does anyone know how long it could take to get an interview for that embassy? Thanks in advance.
