Service Request on I-131
I was wondering if anyone has experiences to share with regard to service requests filed to USCIS. My company lawyers filed one recently for my pending AP (pending over a year) and I'm not sure what to expect in terms of responses/timeframes. Thoughts?

Indeed AP renewals seem to be taking long time. May these are not high priority for them. I have been waiting since Feb-24 - was denied for expedited processing as well

@Put T you can expedite with some reasons for the i-131.

@R V any specific reason for denying expedite request? their own website claims various examples for expedite. one such example is you have more than 5 months of waiting and a pending commitment that needs travel then that could be expedited/applied for emergency.

@a k in my case the expedite request was for business travel. There was very small chance of approval given that it was not an emergency.

@R V @James Ali I'm not sure I have legit expedite reasons since this doesn't constitute an emergency. We did book travel for December though which is now being drawn into question.
@RW BM thank you for the rec! I'll look into it and probably get that started as well. Please let me know if you have any tips/tricks you'd like to share!

if you dont have a travel permit; you may have an issue in the border control.
