Hello, if you need to make a separate petition for your child as he automatically leaves the petition by becoming a citizen

as a minor child he will get his visa with your wife. you just need to report birth outside USA. if you had citizenship at time of child birth then your child can get citizenship automatically just by reporting birth outside United States you can do that by reporting it to local embassy where the child is born.

@skc kc yes you need to file seperatley i have same issue i filled 1 petition for my wife and daughter after 18 months i bacame usc and they approve only my wife and i reapply for my daughter and i am still waiting for my daughter its been 20 months. hopefully she will approve soon.

When u were a LPR, ur child would have been considered a derivative beneficiary, but as a U.S. citizen, each family member (including your child) requires an individual I-130 petition.
