I was in Vermont too and my lawyer just said I’ve been transferred to Potomac. uscis never notified of this change. try to find out maybe you got transferred too and that’s why is taking long. half of Vermont employees got laid off early Dec

my date is sep 4th 2023 original center was texas and after a call to USCIS i was told the case was transfered to vermont. so far nothing. I just don't understand why is so difficult to review a simple case for a mom of a us citizen. my mom is retired nor criminal record. 3 documents to review and USCIS is taking 16 months. this is just ridiculous. I encourage people to watch the hearing of the current head of uscis with senators. that lady is simple incompetent

@Wilson r They have 16 months so they take their time. Someone told me they got RFE on month 16 so they never looked at their case before then.
