Seeing this post on USCiS where it says there are 80000 I40 approvals pending for India- EB1 can someone explain this please?? If this is true then we are all screwed, because it will retrogress 10Y

WTH I just saw it too. I hope it doesn’t retrogress more. I believe all eb2 folks are switching to eb1. we will be screwed big time

Maybe this means that there is 80k pending I140 applications under eb1 category for Indians? just that they havent been approved?

no, they have already shared the number of total i140 applications submitted in 2023 Fy - around 11.8k odd

11,897 petitions filed under EB-1 for India during FY 2023. 8,659 got approved.
