Thanks for sharing. I did it on the App "Inmigra USA" the community of Immigrants in the United States. inmigrausa.com There are immigration lawyers and free collaborators. Stay up to date on news of interest to the Latino community. Search Inmigrate USA. I chose the Florida community, it looks like they are starting now, so I recommend you choose Florida. Busca inmigra USA el app del inmigrante, de verdad es muy buena tambien. Thanks!!!

hi, I applied for Schengen visa (France) back in August 2023 with my expired green card and extension letter. I got my visa after 2 weeks. so you’re good. I went to Europe 2-3 times and came back without no issue.

@waiting game yes, correct, I booked my flight, hotel, travel insurance before my appointment. mine was a business visa for France. France visa requirements is flight round trip, hotels, travel insurance (I got this through work), recent 3 months bank statement, passport, expired green card and I797 extension letter, (I added also my global entry card even though that one was not required), I also added a letter from my boss stating that all trip is paid by company, proof of employment (my job offer letter when I first started), payment for the visa fee. I also paid extra online before the appointment for the passport picture and expedite return shipping so they can mail me back my passport. it was very quick, I did the interviews in San Francisco office on a Saturday and get the visa less than 2 weeks. going to France and coming back, I didn’t have any issue.

@waiting game , for the pictures it is regular passport pictures from CVS, post office for example. you can bring your own or they can take your picture at the interview office for an extra fee you paid when applying online. I just chose to have my picture taken at the interview directly so I don’t have to worry about the pictures requirement. During my application I paid extra for the photos because San Francisco visa office offers that option. if you want to take the pictures at CVS, just make sure it follows the visa requirements. And for the entries, I requested multiple entries. you can choose single or multiple entries in your application form. I wanted 1 year visa but they got me 6 months. make sure you have all the document because I’ve seen some apply during the interview that didn’t bring all their document so they had to go back again. The interview is actually not a real interview, it’s just people asking you your documents and the reason your traveling. they are not the ones who make the decision. that’s why having all the documents is necessary.
