Same-Sex Marriage Green Card
Hi everyone
I appreciate you sharing your thoughts on the recent news about the supreme court decision over overturning the vote for same-sex marriage.
USCIS received our case on October 25 and we have been waiting since then for our interview. We are barely living on my partner's income and I'm still waiting for my EAD to be processed. This recent news about overturning the vote for same-sex marriage made the whole process even more stressful for us.
Does anybody know how same-sex marriage cases will get affected by this new law for the recently filed applicants and those who filled before?
Thank you

The Supreme Court did not overturn its marriage equality ruling - a leaked draft decision which would allow states to ban abortions is probably what you’re referring to. That would have no bearing on your case, so don’t worry.

Thank you Will
The news headlines about same-sex marriage will be the next thing that made me concerned about that
Thanks again for your response
