it's weird cz mine was added too and then they called me to go for bio. I called them to get to tier 2 they said now it takes up to 10 days to speak to tier 2. i'm really losing it. did you request expedite? @

@Immigration Guy if you have sufficient proof, you can schedule appointment via info pass am they will issue you i131 same or next day

@Immigration Guy i131 is RTD. Chat with Ema, ask o Info pass, then schedule appointment, then emergency Travel document. this is only general course, in reality may slightly different

I had another person tell me that of making an appointment and I got called by tier 2 and was kind of shut down told me to wait but will try again. got nothing to lose at this point @Alex B

@Immigration Guy same here, my I- 131case got transferred and got call by mail in days for bio, and I went today to give but they say only picture is needed for this and they took the picture of me. so we should be good bro, they transferred the case to fast the process, hopefully you will get your travel card soon .

@Alex B smart. but fyi if you got the greencard, apply for re-entry permit. I've had clients when I worked as paralegal that switched to re-entry permit (since they are valid for 2 years) and were fine. I'll do that as soon as I get the GC

@Immigration Guy , that's the key. only RTD accepted in other countries for a visa free entry. Re entry permit requires visa

@Alex B yeah haven't checked whole lot of countries on that one, I know the few countries I plan to go it works so I guess makes sense it depends on where you plan on going. well, fingers crossed I hope I get the GC in the 1 year mark 🤞🏻I filed with the new thing of not waiting for 1 year to file, let's see!

quick update @Alex B , I called and asked for an appointment, the tier 2 called and was very confrontational, he was like the documents are outdated (not my fault they took 5+ months and still no response to the expedite request) and after that call I received an email I hadn't received before. it's along the lines of: your expedite meets minimum criteria, the team will reach out to you within the next 10 days. 🤷🏻‍♂️ what a mess, a judge approved the motion to advance due to my emergency situation of my father but seems like I won't be able to help to his medical emergency because of uscis :/ so devastating

@Immigration Guy Thank you for an update. So how long are you trying to expedite overall ? I sincerely wish you approval of that request.

@Alex B I filed for expedite when I filed the documents + I did it thru emma after a week ( all this happened around the end of December). I have been calling them every week/2weeks since then cz they keep saying you will get a decision in 7 days then 10 days then 30 days then they told me to send in a new expedite request. then they asked for more information, I sent it in - in 2-3 days after that they transferred my case to another office (mid march) then they called me for biometrics (early April) although it showed they were taken. I'm just lost at this point, they're literally jeopardizing my dad's health in an irreversible way.
