RFIE is asking for something that should have been submitted with the initial application. For example a copy of the marriage certificate in my case. I am positive I have submitted that with my initial package but it got lost somewhere in action I believe. I got a RFIE after 4 months and responded on Feb 1, waiting for the next step… I hope it will be EAD or interview scheduled soon

yeah I submitted everything so I’m hoping it’s nothing serious because I’m so nervous now lol. i submitted my stuff in October and did my biometrics in December and yesterday saw the update for the RFIE.

I submitted mine 2021-09-23, My bio was on Oct 25 and my RFIE was on January 26, I responded to it on Feb 1, NBC Detroit, what’s your field office and center?

the RFIE notice isn’t even showing on the uscis in my documents

I sent both original and copies but they want copies only unless they say they need an original

It took 8 days to show at mine and another 5 after to get it in my mail

i see so the letter they send in the mail will explain what’s needed from me? i even submitted my medical with my paperwork in October

Yes, Deadline was by April 15, I did both online and by mail. The mail response came back to me yesterday with their stamp - Action Completed, Approved for filling

My status says RFE response recieved since the online submission, no other update yet. I hope to get my EAD soon, it would make my life so much easier. I miss working

I did submit only the copy of vaccination from the K1 visa medical

i was able to see online what they want. most recent w2 for my husband

would it be recent as in 2020 like I submitted in my paperwork last year because we just filed the 21 Taxes so I doubt it would be that

@Nothing Lastsforever i have received RFIE for certificate of Divorce on 8th sept and response sent on 26th sept. no changes in status online. still saying request for evidence sent
