the same happened to me. My lawyer helped me. I sent a new statement from me and witness. Waiting 50 days for the desicion. I sent the psychological evaluation and letter from my psychiatrist and terapist.

@K go1 yes it did. Like I said I submitted request last year June twice. They denied one one on the 29th of June 2025 then I received an approval July 2nd 2025

what did you submits for RFE

bank statements, lease, car insurance, life insurance, utility bills, pics of the abuse (tooth missing, when he cut off my hair while asleep, a black eye) receipt for emergency extraction from dentist ( the root of the tooth still was attached) declaration from myself and the deacon from my country who attended the wedding.

the tax return he filed with the both of us I don't have it.

@Katrona Farrington did you have a witness letters, evaluation from psychologist? anything else? or only pictures and statements

no witness because I never told anyone. Just mentioned to my mom and she lives in another country. I never went to any sessions, nor did I think to submit meds that I was placed on (blood pressure meds & migraine meds)

on alllllll @E S basically every category seemed to be an issue. I will consult with a lawyer to see what my chances are. I have 33 days if I want to file a motion to reconsider

every category I guess. I meet with a lawyer this afternoon to let me know the exact reason.

The lawyer said my case is strong and don't understand why all the nip picking. He said I submitted more than enough evidence 🤷‍♀️ We are in the process of appealing and that cost is $800 uscis filing fee.

I am so sorry what was there main reason, I noticed there was a recent update. I think they changed the guidelines and they’re being more picky.

Update on my case....I got a text message that uscis has taken action on my case....Logged in and see that they issued a receipt notice about the appeal🙏
