RFE sent but no response after 4 months
I received RFE(medical) on 12/19/2022
documents sent right away
it’s being four months still no response as today
also my account doesn’t show request for evidence and evidence received (remain on case transferred to NBC)
does anyone has the same experience?

I don’t understand why a lot of people wait for the RFE for the medical and don’t send it right away. why is it?

we were rush to file after I-140 so attorney recommended to send after RFE

@T T I think they are obligated to respond after 60 days of sending the RFE. you may be able to raise a service request with USCIS. check their website

call USCIS and open a request. I just did it today, I sent my medicals RFE in February and never got any updates not even “ response received “. after 60 days you can open a request for your RFE. It was written in my RFE as well.

my field office is Baltimore and they received my medical dec 15 I know how you feel it’s so frustrating I’m over 4months waiting !!!

it’s so frustrating like why rush us and say send asap and give deadline when you are gonna play and take forever it’s so unfair and then I see others who applied this year or even last year send rfe and within a day or week they get approved !!! the system is so backwards @T T

@ari reed I totally agree with you. I see other applicants approved within few days after medical sent. I don’t know how the system works….I issued a service ticket follow by the comment I received above. I hope they will response me in 30 days.

i am in the same boats and I got really worried and frustrated. Me and my spouse received our RFE (medical) letter in mail, and we responded and it has been two months. But my case status only shown “case was transferred and a new office has jurisdiction” since about 3 months ago. i contacted Emma and they said that was what they saw on my case status as well
