rfe question
I have a quick question. I applied for the I-140, I-485, and I-131 concurrently. I am the petitioner on the case, and my I-140 was approved two weeks ago. On the 25th, my wife, who is my dependent on the case, received an RFE medical exam letter before me. Is that normal? And will she receive her GC before me?

The rfe for medical has no correlation whatsoever on who gets the green card first. As the main petitioner you should get your green card first not the other way around.

@M A but usps is not so good lol and letters never get there on time but yes if you see that way is about 3 months but it only took us a week to get everything together

@hello goodbye since it is more than 30 days since USCIS claims they sent the RFE I will go to the office to try to get a copy of the RFE

@hello goodbye the Congressman received a letter from USCIS saying that an RFE was sent to me on March 27th. I never saw this updated in my online account so I was blind sided.

@hello goodbye it’s been over 30 days and my lawyer has not received it. I don’t just want the case to be denied for not responding to an RFE I never received.

@hello goodbye yeah i created a service request online and I called them and they couldn’t give any information over the phone but they scheduled an appointment for me to go there in person tomorrow.

@M A funny thing is that i called USCIS to check status of mine and my wifes I485 and it does not even show that they have a rfe request on file for my wife.
have you tried making an appointment to going to your local field office

@hello goodbye I went there this morning and they printed out a copy of RFE and gave me. luckily I have until June 22 to submit the RFE
