RFE i130
hello you guys, I received an RFE on my i130 yesterday and I’m waiting for the letter in the mail to know exactly what document they want however, I’m curious as to how much longer does it take after submitting the requested information to reach the decision? for those of you who have also received RFE who long did it take you?

@Heather E I130 RFE will be Bona-fide Marriage. Also, U can go ahead & check what the content of the letter is via the Petitioner's USCIS account instead of waiting for it to arrive in the mail. Also, there are no exact time for USCIS to take decision, it can be immediately they receive RFE response or it can take months or years. USCIS is unpredictable.

@mon c oh wow I hope this happens for us to! i am the petitioner and it’s not in my documents tab yet. what did you submit to show bona-fide? pictures? I submitted our marriage certificate and letters from family members and 2 marriage photos. is it safe to upload my passport stamps photo showing I’m living here in his country? I’m afraid if I upload that now and I don’t even know what they want exactly maybe that would hurt my case.

@mon c I live in Libya with him from the beginning of marriage and we never left here so non of these kind of documents exist. even we don’t have paper on anything. I have flight intineraries and documents from Tunis when we tried to marry there and pictures. 😕I hope that will work for us. I will see what they say. thanks so much for your response it’s been very helpful and informative.
