RFE for medical
Het guys I need your help. I got a RFE on my i-485 because the officer told me my medical is only valid for 2 years.
I submitted my i485 on 4/6/2021.
My medical was submitted before September 2021, I think my case has 4 years of extension so it should not be expired.
According to people here, my medical should be valid still. What is correct?
I am going to visit the clinic this Fri and gonna do the medical very quick and going to send it once is done.
However, my medical is still valid, I would like to send them mail or email to appral.
My case is current and they said only medical is left at this time. My case is under urgency so I need very quick decision.
please help me if you know better than me

If you sent it before 30th September 2021, it should be validated for 4 years based on the extension rule published in August 2021….

It happens in case they transfered your case to another office. My friend was approved and received his green card last week with exams sent with his 485 in January 2021 but his process was in the same office in Nebraska.

@Joe Judah Thank you for answering me! My case Transferred from Texas to NBC and now it held to Hawaii office. I asked to Emma but they repeated that only 2 years are valid. If my case stayed at the same office, I think my medical could be extended 4 years but may be transfered case ended up with my medical got expired. If it is true, I think the applicants should be aware of this. I went to see clinic today and got the medical again and I have to wait from today for 5 days of processing done.

It case is different. If USCIS follow the extension it should have validity for 4 years. the rule says: If sent after 12 August 2021 and before 31th September 2021 you are good. If the USCIS asked for new exams your attorney can request and claim for it. In my case I sent it in September 2021 and my family is big. If they asked for new ones I will try to claim and in final case if they deny it I will do new ones and spend almost 2.3k because they don’t respect the rule that themselves published 😩
