I-797E is RFE...mine is from I-485 ( family base petition ) for us. We got ours Nov 28 then my lawyer responded to it on dec 1, 2020 by Jan 20, 2021 we got my son’s EAD.

It is most likely I-944 and or I-864

oh well.. I checked all these forms and we sent them too... now im a little worried cause I dont know what else they want:(

@mas obi, no. we tried to open a bank account but they ask me for my ssn...

okay your best bet is opening an insurance policy having both of you names in it it does not cost much $5 every month I & my wife did same

well since he is the us citizen, he can add you to his account without the ssn, my own case my wife was the usc she added me to her account I did without ssn

heyv...guys..I just got RFE ...they need my bank account and they need good faith relationships proof....I give it to everything I dont understand why they tell me good faith relationships???.

how can I open account ....my husband in india ..and I'm here usa....what can I do ?I'm so confused....

here are couple of things misty! 1. they want your bank statement because your income/asset might not be enough to support your husband. 2. they want more evidences for good faith since you might have gone back to india and then got married and they might think you are bringing someone inside usa for green card , in this case you need more evidences like how and when you decide to get married, your chat / email history, family background and even affidavit from friends who knows this is real and they attended the wedding

they are asking that because they don’t think it’s a bonafide marriage! so what i suggest you both put your individual bank account and have each other as beneficiary! and explain saying once your husband gets here you will add him and you have plans to start a family, have a kid together and all the good stuff. + whatver you can collect to prove it’s a marriage in good faith

ok this explains why they want to know the marriage is in good faith! Good luck and get some professional help if needed! this case could get complicated real quick if you can’t submit the required evidences!

BTW guys, if someone needs the info, I got RFE and they just ask me for my own I944. The lawyer at that time sent it but with the info of my husband, so they want me to fill my own I944, fortunately, that's all they asked for. And next week I have my biometrics appointment 🙂
