RFE for i130
My husband called a week ago to inform USCIS of his status update from LPR to Citizen. Today we got an RFE for our i130 form.
We only filed i130 form. No biometrics and no social security no for me yet.
So husband could not include me in his tax filing.
I’m on F1 visa and don’t work.
We stay with our in-law ( husband’s parents) so we do not have any leasing or mortgage to show.
Can my father-in-law write a letter to that effect?
All our documents have the same address even before we officially got married.
We’ve got joint bank account, car insurance, life insurance, medical insurance, drivers license, a loan together, pictures of marriage, pictures of our families , pictures of our parents, etc.
My dad is in my home country but he will also write a letter as a proof.
A few friends or family can also write.
Would this be good enough?

I was in the same situion and I got approved. we also didn’t have a lease or anything but my husband’s sister wrote a sworn letter saying that we live with her and we also included her lease in the package and a copy of her passport . And you have a lot of other evidence so that shouldn’t be a problem. include lots of photos as well.

@P O, you have a lot to send to them. Let your inlaws write you a sworn letter, then attach their passport/driver licenses to it. Once you forward all you have and the letter, we surely await good news from you.

I am not sure. they told me to come to their office so I went there and dropped it off. They gave me an appointment.

I did online and it got approved in like 4 days they received. I was in same situation like you but received rfe for proof of naturalization. but I suggest you to do online it way more quicker.
