RFE for I-485 after VAWA approval
Hello, I received an RFE for postal code for Interview scheduling.
It has been over 20 days since they received the response, but there’s been no progress at all after that.
Is there any way to know of an adjudicator is assigned to my file.
When can I expect an interview call? My file has been at local fiends office since Aug!

same for me! it’s been 20 days. they have not even updated portal that received rfe response.

@Kavita Bhagwandin medicals were submitted in 2023 Sept when I submitted the application, and biometrics was done in April 2024.

@rise 1111 I didn’t call or anything. my lawyer said not to worry since it’s delivered before deadline. idk what to do

I was least expecting an interview! I’ve enquired, they just asked me to wait and said the workload might be high.

Dude chill USCIS doesn’t operate like that. 20 days is not a long wait as they have other files they are tending to and once they are ready they will get back on your case. I use to think like you then I realized that once they send you an RFE they go in to tend to others to reduce the work load on their table then come back on the responses on RFE received. Take note you are not the only one assigned to that adjudicator and you are not the only one getting RFE from him, they probably were others before you who got RFE too and responded before you were issued one or responded back which they have to look into their response too. Atleast your Vawa has been approved after the long wait, the remaining process is not 20% wait time compared to the long wait on your approved Vawa. Just relax and thank God. Sometimes they might need to send it to the local field office if you are one of those penciled down for interview and the local office have their own queue which your case have to fall in line and wait.
