@Sal 25 great, if will reach USCIS tomorrow then doesn’t matter what time. just your lawyer shouldn’t take a risk and should send in 2-3 days in advance. we know how USPS work sometimes…

@Sal 25 if I were you moving forward I would recommend using FedEx. they have been really reliable for me. not to scare you or anything but I tried putting my trust in USPS and they failed me and lost my package going from same city to same city. I had to resend & FedEx sent it exactly the next day. Hoping everything goes well 😊!!

@Sal 25 I’ve had for birth certificate, medical, and a criminal record one that was a mistake because I don’t know why the officer said I was arrested for a traffic citation. so I had to get that cleared up. I’ve sent everything that they could ask for and I’m currently just waiting for a decision now

@Sal 25 yeah they need to understand that abuse does not discriminate. You can be a man and still be abused by a woman. I currently know someone going through hell from his wife. if you don’t mind me asking what type of documents did you send first to prove abuse before the RFE and what type of documents did you send to prove abuse after the RFE?

@remaining hopeful I only send a letter from therapist ! it was my old lawyer fault saying that all I need ! but my response were ( a picture of injury- police report call harassment- a new evaluation from other therapist - threat text - )

@Sal 25 that sounds like much more evidence which is great. Sucks you had an inexperience lawyer advising you incorrectly. But glad you got the chance to send in the RFE. It’s also crazyy how long it took to send that RFE. That honestly could’ve been pointed out within 1 month of reviewing it but i guess that’s just USCIS for you

@survivor p yeah I received like 4 I believe. But my VAWA was approved 11/2021. it’s my I-485 that’s been a pain. 5 years of waiting

I did a new evaluation! and I added witnesses ! but I really hope for approval ! Cuse iv sent everything physical and emotional and mental abuse ! I don’t know what they expecting more 😂 . new lawyer said Cuse of you are a man they doing it this way

@Sal 25 It’s a good thing you were able to provide evidence after 4 years of waiting to hear back from them. I’m sure it’ll be enough. you sent this RFE late? are you able to track your package? sometimes these post offices act like they don’t know government offices typically close at 5pm M-F
