RFE
I promptly submitted my medical RFE to the nearby local field office last Wednesday (received this day itself by the USCIS per its tracking number) after receiving it last Monday. However, neither the RFE sent to me or the RFE response received by USCIS is acknowledged online. A tier-1 office is also not seeing any update apart from fingerprints taken on July 2021.
Based on your experience, is this no-update situation normal? Are people getting their I-485 cases approved without getting their case status updated? How long does it take for RFE medical to the approved case status per your experience? Also, the medical RFE mentioned that the i-693 is what is needed to make the final decision on my case? The RFE letter was white and no interview was mentioned. Does this mean the interview is waived? FYI, the letter was from the field office.

It happened to me and is very normal. They did not confirm even over a service request until 60 days. After 60 days, I hey confirmed the receipt of medicals over another service request only.

Most of the employment cases doesn’t go through interview. But in my case, it is still ready to schedule for interview for EB based application.

yep they updated on tracker when they sent me the rfe. Im also marriage based. been ready to schedule for interview since August 2021 and got Rfe for medical early Feb

@jj pap I’m posting my timeline in a new post, if you want to check it out. but on “Interview” and after the RFE the next update
was “new card being produced”. I got my green card today on the mail!

my case still at fingerprints but I received and sent back RFE which by tracking number was received last week. still no case update online.
