Yes, they receive your evidence. You have to wait for 60 days.

@younas shinwari yeah but I submitted online on 10/15 and it says it was received that day and the exact time I uploaded the documents, but I checked my USCIS account as usual like an hour ago and it said that it was received today at 12:39pm, so I don’t get it.

@younas shinwari @Aileen Gonzalez you both are lucky that your cases were updated after they received your rfe response. mine took 5 months before it got updated.

@Aileen Gonzalez mine changed date too. I ask Emma and what she told me was it was the date the response was included on your file, the other one was the date USCIS received.

@Aileen Gonzalez I submitted my RFE yesterday, and shortly after, I received confirmation that it was received. However, I found it strange that I also received an email the same day stating that an action had been taken on my case, yet when I logged in, I couldn’t find any updates. Did you receive the same email?

@Hope. . Yesssss!! I actually received two of those emails and I asked Emma and they said it was because they received the RFE response, so that’s why I was wondering why they changed the receipt date today if they received it on Tuesday and they emailed me that action.. smh

I’ve been waiting so long they been reviewing since April 12

i sent my package on Tuesday but it’s not even delivered yet even though i did express. so frustrated. :(

I sent mine, they received it but they said they were going to return it bc I sent it to the wrong address (still USCIS address but not for the concurrent filling) so I had to do it again .. I cried a lot bc I was thinking about all the pictures of my husband and I and documents and effort we put .. so we filled the I-130 online and we were going to attach the receipt with the I-485 application .. couple of days later I received a couple of emails that said they had taken an action on my case .. I checked and they uploaded all the documents that I sent on my first package (the one they said they were gonna send back), and of course they charge them again on our credit card … so don’t worry, lockbox take some time to scan all your documents:)

Ask USCIS about it. it is their policy not your way.

@KK KK I think you didn't understand the question , I repeat: never asked about processing times, only WHY a receipt date could change and what does it mean.. so I don't know what do you mean with “Not your way.” Because I don’t know where I am trying to do the things on my way if I only asked about the meaning of an action on my account … thank you SO MUCH @Pam Pi ! you solved my question 100%! 🙏🏼

@Aileen Gonzalez Thankyou for your supporting words. honestly this whole process has been a nightmare, I was working before but ever since applying, can’t get to work. It’s been a constant battle. Feeling unproductive. Hopefully we all get our card soon. 😇

Very simple question you asked. It does not matter if you submitted the rfe asap. Hold on, this is an immigration question but honest, there would be mistakes why it did not update at that moment. There was maybe a mentainace taking place in their system.

my 2nd actively reviewing my I-130 came after I sent a RFE since 2021 Sep. it was under review since then till I got a NOID this August which I responded to and then now back to actively reviewing my I-130 petition. I believe the next message should.be approval notice . we filed 2020 Feb. in Jesus name, what God cannot do does not exist!!! Amen!!!
