@Michelle Penaloza it depends on what they’re requesting. If is something as simple as medical, birth or marriage certificate, proof of bonafide marriage you could go ahead, but if it involves joint sponsorship and filling out that aspect of the I-864 form I would say it is better to be safe than sorry .
