i got an rfe for my husband’s proof of us citizenship 04/20/23 he replied to it online and it change to rfe response received then May 3rd it change to actively reviewing for the second time. PD 03/29/23 Form 130. NBC -

@Sanju Khatri the processing times for Santa Ana fo is 15 months and you still within the normal processing times so you can’t file for outside normal processing services the last option is to write for www.dhs.gov/case-assistant they might help you

how do you have congressman involved in the case?? they ask for evidence to expedite and I don’t have any specific reason to expedite.

@Sanju Khatri google your city congressman and then open his website after that you can request help from him .. wait for his email and sign the privacy release and write a brief about your problem and reply to their email.. wait from 2 days to 2 weeks for the uscis response

and I don’t have one if USCIS requests it

I saw a post for you last month about not receiving your EAD card yet ..if you still haven’t received it yet try to expedite your I-485 for financial loss and submit anything can support this .. I asked them to expedite for me due to financial loss and humanitarian reasons and the evidence was notarized letter from my husband stated our financial situation another one from me stated that college refused to consider me as a state resident student and they want to make me pay as an international student.. bank statement and our monthly payments

nothing is approved yet

@Sanju Khatri ok contact your congressman to expedite your I-485 due to financial loss and provide the things I mentioned above

my lawyer says we already have sponsor proving they are supporting me so we can’t do financial loss yet. i am on F-1 status atm.

@Sanju Khatri sometimes you should do your thing by yourself without a lawyer.. if I listened to every thing my lawyer said I wouldn’t have my EAD and SSN .. they are good only to file in your behalf but not for any other movement .. I expedited my EAD by myself and got approved 4 months after filing

@slim RK not yet .. but hopefully soon .. at least now I know that they received my medical and the congressman received their answer to the expedite request he requested on my behalf and they stated that my case is handled to an officer for final review they can’t give us a certain date for the decision but they asked to allow them 90 days … congressman said most of the time they approved ppl after 1-2 months max

did you do multiple request?? or just for EAD? I see that we can only add one receipt number.

@Sanju Khatri I requested for the I-485 since I have my EAD .. but in your case it’s better to ask for EAD of you haven’t received for now and after the expedite result you can request for the I-485 .. I saw some ppl expedite the EAD and they got the approval for the I-485

@Sanju Khatri ok relax .. it’s easy .. write 2 expedite letters one from you and the other from the spouse, include all bills , bank statement showing that you don’t have a lot of money , if you or your spouse have mortgage or rent include it , car insurance payment and car payment , health insurance payment and credit card statements..

@Sanju Khatri my husband makes 90k per year but with all the expenses I mentioned before whatever he makes not enough to cover everything

@roro April 2022 i just got done with my final and decided to chat with live agent before submitting expedite request. they said combo card ha sbeen produced on may 31st and case has been closed. so I don’t have to request for an expedite anymore right? also thank you for all your help.
