always send copies of original documents not the original documents. USCIS don’t send back original documents to you. You will need to apply back to the relevant departments for those documents. Remember never send original documents to USCIS always send copies of your originals.

Hmm so u saggust I should request directly file for the return of these documents from the office that processed my case right.

I am suggesting that u reapply back to those offices or departments that issue original birth n marriage certificates.

i dont think you are getting those back.i thought we were supposed to always send copies and then at the interview show the originals.

@Venezuela even though the USCIS requested them? I sent photoopies with my initial applications but requested for originals later.

@Realler yup i believe so you should of just sent copies and at the interview they ask for the originals.
