If you are in this country and your visa category goes into retrogression before you receive an EAD or it expires during - whats:
1) your status
2) do you stay in USA in the mean time or have to leave

@h1b it means the dates for issuing green card are not current for applicants who applied after 8th may 2019 for eb3-3 category
ari salJun 11, 2022
@eve 1) if you have already filed i485 and it’s waiting adjudication, then your status is legal.
2) if you just have 485 filed and no valid visa, then yes you have to stay in the USA, unless you have a travel permit. if you don’t and you travel, your application will be denied on the grounds of abandonment.

my eb3 unskilled case was approved on june 2022. not sure if its valid approval or not. my PD is july 2020. some say its uscis error but some others say its valid approval since i had interview before retrogression in may 2022. Not sure what to do now. I have gc in hand but i m worried if uscis will revoke it. has anyone heard of similar case?
