hello @Marco P I have a similar situation, I just not sure does it really means that they want to approve it if visa number will be available, how do you know that? I thought the pending status means only that our PD is not current, hopefully I am wrong..

Ordinarilly, your case should be approved within the first week of September. if I were you, I will be on their neck, asking for urgent processing

I am in a similar situation - CRP since July 26 although starting August 1 the PD became current - no updates till now…

@L Z which Field office is processing your case?

NBC - as per Emma the case is processing in Sacrementto office

@Permanent Resident why ask for urgent processing if they can approve it in the first week of September ?

@AU UAZ well it’s fundamentally an update on the I-485 case that says specifically they are not doing anything. they could reject, ask for other docs, they are just saying they are pausing work until a visa number is available

my case also says pending because visa is not available. are there any examples where there is rejection after this status?

my pd is current but still pending. status says no visa is available.

is this a concurrent case?

@BC G the case remain pending says explicitly “we are stopping because a visa number is not immediately available to you”. the only professing they can’t do without a visa number is approval, everything else can be done

@Marco P you don't need to. There are hundreds of people in the same shoe with you. all you can do is hope that they pick up your file in September, so that it gets worked on.

CRP since Aug 25th, PD will be current in September. just 5 days ! i hope they don’t throw my file in the CRP pile🙏🏻
