@Anonyme Ann if they send RFE for your I-485 it’s only one thing and that’s your Medicals.. but after that you can’t know whether they will call you for interview or waive it. it’s subjective. so you will have to wait it out and see what happens. there is no format to determine what’s next. so I will encourage you to pray and hope that they waive interview and approve you instantly. best of luck and keep us informed as it goes.

@uu u I got my RFE for medical. I submitted that and I got an update 38days ago now, that they are ready to schedule me for interview. Like @Anonyme Ann said, it’s subjective. I do not think anyone has a way of knowing what USCIS does next. it’s 50/50.

another question what is the card that is being sent to you.. seen I already have my combo card category c09 that I got in August 2024. what card is being sent family? what card did u get if u filed c09? and have a combo card already

@Approved GreenCard I got my RFE for medical 2 months and 7days after approval. Got approved in April 2024 and got my RFE in June 2024. I already had Combo card too. They sent another EAD card that expires two years from approval date - so I’m 2026 - but this card is not a combo card

@uu u That makes sense. I also am hoping.. even praying that they somehow bypass my interview. I had an interview before for I-485 and it did not go well at all. I hope I someone escape this interview but just waiting.. it’s been a little over a month now, since I got that status update.

@bolaji imran @Tom Bom @Sam Gem @uu u I got my RFE letter today :it’s my medical exam (I-693).It says I have to provide my I-693 to them to make a final decision.It mean they will waive my interview???

@Anonyme Ann , did you submit Your I-864W waiver ? they may Likely waive your interview. on the other side I have seen some people who received RFE for Medicals and were later Scheduled for an interview. So just Trust in God, You gonna get approved

@Anonyme Ann what @Tom Bom and @Sam Gem said is very correct and spot on. with USCIS you can’t predict the next step they will take or do. so just relax and chill and keep praying that they bypass interview and go straight to decision. you are almost close so hang in there and everything will be alright. will say a prayer for you 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
