Request for Initial evidence Form I-485
Hello everyone,
my case for form i-485 just updated this morning with "we sent you a request for initial evidence".
Does anyone know what that could be?
I haven't sent for I-693 for medical exam with package. I had the intention to take it to the interview. could that be the request? please let me know based on your experience.

I received rfe but mine was due to no of pple in the house. my husband included his parents in the house hold which made them think he needed more finance we corrected and our case was approved. we never submitted i693 and never got rfe for it we just carried with us during interview

same boat , mine updated to RFIE sent last Friday , hopefully it’s medical.

@prince I don't think it's medical they don't send rfe for medical they will tell you on your interview invitation to carry one if you had not submited. I didn't submit i693 on my initial application and never got rfe for it

No when you add your cash to your online login there is a tab there thats says ‘Documents’ everything they send you is uploaded there

I’ve received the same becuase they said I needed to send the form I 944 but it’s cancel since March 10 so we don’t need to send it anymore

i got my request for medical last Saturday and no update online. it does not show on USCIS site as a rfie

@j2020 mine clearly said RFIE. I just have to wait for few days before getting the notice.
