Request For I-130 expedition
Hello Community,
I need your help on this if you have any idea;
Yesterday, my husband called USCIS to request to expedite my I-130 petition due to medical emergency in my home (Africa).
USCIS responses this morning with this;
“The status of this service request is:
Upon receipt of your request for expeditious handling, your case was reviewed, and a determination was made that we need additional information to make a decision regarding your request. Please scan and e-mail documents supporting your expedite request to tscsrmtdoc@uscis.dhs.gov.
NOTE: Please include the receipt number and ATTN: XM1890 in the subject line of your e-mail.
The information must be received within 48 hours of the date of this notice. A decision regarding expediting your request cannot be made until this documentation is received. Any documents submitted, in a foreign language, must be accompanied by a full English translation”.
This is my situation-
I lost my father in 2016 a year after I came to the US, I couldn’t attend his funeral, never saw his body before being buried, never paid him my last respect or bid him farewell. It really did a lot to me, I was depressed and broken because my father was my best friend and my life in general.
Now, my mother has some heart condition, she has a swollen heart and other complications, practically on life support now and only have cpl of months to live. She has cried out her eyes requesting to see all her 3 children before she dies, including me she hasn’t seen for 7 yrs now. I’m feeling worse here because I’m not sure if I can survive loosing my mother without seeing her at least before she dies.
My heart is very heavy right because I want to see my mother before she leaves me.
My family also needs to perform some traditional rights on my father’s grave too and I’m required to be present.
What are examples of supporting document I can send to USCIS so they can approve my I-130?
Please, help. I only have 48 hrs to respond to them.

you can also add a handwritten letter of what you stated above and sign and add to the document the previous commenter mentioned

@mary. I requested for medical reports from the hospital where my mom is back home, and I was only sent 2 documents, 1 was the doctor stating her condition in a lame man’s understanding, and the other was just a test of her urea and creatinine. I also got pictures of her current state. Do you think that is convincing enough to them?

My husband also wrote a letter.

since that's all you got,, add it to an handwritten signed letter,, just as you explained above in the body of your description, it will only take a log of wood that won't sympathize with you and your mum's current condition. good luck
