Replacement Greencard
Goodnight everyone. I hope all is well. I'm reaching out because I'm extremely stressed about a situation with my green card.
On February 4th, my green card was approved, and USCIS mailed it to my previous lawyer's address due to an administrative error. Despite having a new lawyer for over a year, USCIS didn't update their records.
My previous lawyer received the card on February 10th and mailed it to me via certified mail. However, for over a month, USPS has reported that it's "in transit to final destination" without any progress.
I'm worried and frustrated because my previous lawyer refuses to assist me further. Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

usps has been experiencing delays. I mailed a letter and it took 3weeks for it to be delivered.

get the tracking information and file a claim also sign up for notifications, and informed delivery, you’ll see all the mail’s that’s coming in.they are really experiencing serious delays issues for real, I sent a package from February 26 and it just got delivered today, it’s ridiculous. to replace green card now it will take over 10 months .

@uu u I’ve called so many times, I’ve done service request, missing mail search but all they tell me is what’s on the status currently nothing else.

@Tash B Trust me when I say I’m believing that God will deliver soon because my lawyer wants to charge me $500 to do replacement along with the uscis fee of $465. I’m so tired of spending unnecessary money sigh 😔

@God is good , every money making chance they get they’ll run with it. give it a few more days and if doesn’t show up you might have to do a replacement and start a claim with the post office or online at usps.com

@Tash B omg after 30 days it finally got returned to my previous attorney’s address, only God knows how grateful I am🙏 they’ll be sending via FedEx now
