hi @san P @Ice Cream court didn’t properly report my case as dismissed so USCIS admin closed my 485. now that the 130 was approved, and that we have paperwork from the court about the dismissal of the case, we wanted to re open the 485

ok, send a letter asking to reopen your i-485. enclose i-485 receipt and court decision. I wasn't sure where my case was so I mailed this package to 3 places: NBC, field office and address on administrative closure notice. they actually give you instructions how to reopen on that notice. I also called uscis and said "I want to reopen my i-485". tier 2 officer called me back in a few days, checked that my removal case was really dismissed and submitted a service request on my behalf called "IJ Post Decisional". i don't know if it was the letters or service request, my i-485 was reopened in about a month. if you still work with a lawyer, then ask him to reopen your i-485.

you have 2 options as @ice cream stated send a letter or refile I was in the same situation I send a letter didn’t get a reply so I refiled a new I-485 10months now and still waiting for approval it’s at the local office

the officer who did the interview said he would send a request to reopen and took copies of the corrected court documents. should I still call and try to push them a bit?

hey @oscar palma if you have the dismissal letter!! make an appointment with the USCIS office and go hand them the letter, that’s what i did in October
