travel documents take about a year and a half. work permit can take about a year

then you got lucky. I did an refugee renewal and it’s still pending 11 months later. 6 days? wow. they don’t usually clean out the mailbox in 6 days. sounds like record time.

@xoxo xoxo Hi, they updated my fingerprints automatically. I sent the renewal travel document on August 30. I sent work authorization on March 14. You can send travel renewal 120 days before expiration first card and work permit 180 days before . Forms I131 and I765 must be filled with correct information.🙌

@kal b I requested it 7 months ago, the previous travel document was valid until December 15. The Texas Service Center has my application and the average approval time is currently 14 months. The work authorization is in Nebraska and has an average approval of 3 months. I have a work authorization valid until September 9, so I sent this in advance as well. My priority date is 10/05/21, so I think they won't get a green card for another year🙈. Maybe we will receive these documents in time.

I renewed my ead by myself. I filled the i765 form following the info of my previous i765 form, I added a copy of my ead, receipt of pending i485, passport and i94. and mailed it to the filling address indicated in this website https://www.uscis.gov/uscis-lockbox-filing-locations-chart
