@Harjinder Singh it was hard , it took 3 years because I had a lawyer that did the wrong way, but thankfully I was on the app Reddit a few months back and this lovely lady above walk me through step by step. I first had to do a motion to reopen, a judge long time ago administratively closed my removal so I thought it was over , then years later I get married and in my interview only I found out it was not closed for good😒then every time I have court for this , is a new judge and they keep schedule for next ahead because of covid! But this time a file a joint motion to have my case terminated , she helped me do it all alone, it means you/your lawyer have to join the motion with goverment asking Judge to dismiss removal proceedings so she said I have DACA, I am married to USC , so they gave me new court date , once Stephania helped how to prepared all, she also helped me to find a pro bono lawyer in NJ, after Gov lawyer agreed to dismiss, took less than 3 months for Judge to sign🙏🏼

and when judge terminated your asylum that time your I 130was approved or no thanks

@Jimmy St Gia applied June of 2022 and had her interview June of this year which USCIS approved her I130 but had no jurisdiction to decide on her I485.

wow congratulations 🍾 my case was administratively closed still waiting on the approval of my I-130 so we can ask the judge to terminate my case

@Jimmy St it leaves me flabbargasted how the system works that some will get greened under 6months, while others won’t even get biometrics done at the same speed, crazy sad! I hope your luck changes with the timing and that you’re also able to get the removal terminated🙏🏻

@Gia Sforza @Stephania Romano please help me I have asylum case denied and ninth circuit court give me administrative closure for my case and also I have prima facie determination can I terminate or dismiss my asylum case or I have to wait for vawa approval

@Gia Sforza was it a template that Stephania shared with you for the motion?

@many singh You need grounds like a reason to ask court to terminate , so if you have a pending case, you best wait for an approval to go to court and give a reason for them to terminate . But if you have a lawyer they can try to to have ICE lawyer agreeing with government to terminate , it really depends on who take your case. Steph did the motion to reopen and recalendar for me by herself , after they put me in the calendar, I got a lawyer.

@Mellica G she did it for me herself , it’s basically 2 pages with your info and asking motions to reopen to to be out and calendar, she put the term “pro per” which means like my own person - no lawyer … then you just go to court and dropped at the window, you have to take a few copies . I don’t really remember , but I’m sure if you need help and wanna start she will walk you through it!! Once they schedule my court , I did showed up by myself and judge asked to reschedule to look at my case and the chance to get a lawyer , but it took a whole year for them to see me again because the calendar is super busy 😔
