As Iβve been saying, while this current administration is in charge we will be left in this limbo. Fortunately, a new government is coming up soon.

@C M So it means we can see some positive changes with the new government?
C MDec 10, 2024
For Religious Workers, I think, yes.
C MDec 10, 2024
My statement is based on the following thinking. Religious workers used to have their cases processed in 9 months on average. We have seen a delay in the decisions after the government changed the priority date by 5 years to prioritize the processing of the cases of juveniles from the border crisis back in 2018 (and other asylum seekers). Since religious workers only use 800-1.000 out of the 10.000 available visas to EB-4 category. The juveniles were about 600.000+ cases. The new government probably will recognize the religious workers as a minority in this category and process their cases at a normal pace. That's my foresee.

@C M That would be really great. Separate the R1 from asylum. Itβs an employment based category !!!
C MDec 11, 2024
Yes, I think they should move RW to a different category within the employment based categories.

@C M I hope so.
