@W A It could depend on your priority date. If doing consular processing, have/did you already receive a "welcome letter" from NVC, paid the fees and submitted all the required documents on ceac.gov?

we request nvc inquiry they sent us email in which case id and invoice id number is mention,but when we checked at ceac it shows your case is returned to usixs for administrative action and is not at NVC.

You could call USCIS or try to speak with a live agent using Emma.

@Argenis Garcia That's a long time to wait, but now there is light at the end of the tunnel. I'm happy for the positive response..It gives hope to others who are still waiting. My brother just sent his request in Mar 27th 2023 and nothing to say it was received. We wait and we pray!!

@W A As you can see from @Argenis Garcia there are other possibilities in the unlikely event that you do not get the desired outcome. Apart from the I-290 B Motion to Reopen, there is the EOIR-29 Notice of Appeal to the Board of Immigration Appeals. However, USCIS would provide instructions in the decision letter, as applicable. @Dahna B-rightful 🇯🇲 🇺🇸 ❤️ that's how it is! but there is hope that my case will be approved 🙏🏻. my pd is July 22, 2011. category F3. after I sent the i-290B they reopened the case for reconsideration and then I received another notification in the USCIS status that says the case was reopened. in the same day all this happened, I-130. which is a positive thing.

Above i explained we had approved humanitarian reinstatement case. Both petitions had parallel same status going step by step after father died.. 19october : department of state sent case to usics for visa processing (both petitions same) 28Nov,2022: Department of state sent case to usics for review (for the 2nd petiton that was me) last nite,My elder sister she got fee payment notification at ceac but the other petition for me is still on old status review at case tracker and Administrative action by usics on Ceac🥺🥺🥺🥺

@W A I'd give it a few more days. Afterwards, considering that your PD is current, and you have already waited 8 months for this administrative review, it might be time to reach out to the Ombudsman. Many persons said they have had much success doing that. This is not legal advice..just my opinion.

@W A It means USCIS should be reviewing your file for whatever reason it was returned by NVC and will be sending you a letter with their decision. Please try the NVC Inquiry. You can explain the situation, pointing out the irregularity considering that your sister's case which mirrors yours is now active on CEAC and upload a copy of the Approval Notice you received January 2022.

@W A Did you get that message when you completed the NVC Inquiry Form from the link just now ?? Try doing the USCIS e- request and also chat with Emma (use "expedite request" and then " lost receipt number" to get through to live chat) and see if you can get to talk to someone ( tier 2 agent) there.

@lovely roses our case went thru automatic revocation october21 we responded to rfe which concluded 3rd jan22 28jan2022 cae reopen,case approved,decision letter in which it was said that case is reaffirmed on humanitarian grounds

@Dahna B-rightful 🇯🇲 🇺🇸 ❤️ lawyer call in presence of applicants mother and wife to deceased US citizen who was actualy petitioner. they issued some code and asked for family member contact number to talk with applicants mother and asked them to wait for the offcier call and let them know with the code we issued. All case onformation will be goven on that.

what does this mean? even they were informed that they were two petitions one moved to nvc other still review but they said the same to lawyer that we will talk directly to principal aplicants mother who is guardian and wife of the dexeased petitoner

one thing more i want to know why dont principal applicant couldnt call to usics or nvc as they are the real beneficiary and can defend there case much easy then ofher family members to express…

@W A That is a normal feedback. Many persons have received the same from the contact center. Do the e-request, do the NVC inquiry, do the Ombudsman request...all three links are provided above.

how principal applicant can lead the case by there own? why they need guardians to talk with nvc or usics…or it be required to register princial applicant email and confact with both..? why a beneficiary is so helpless looking to guardians and attorneys?

@W A You have the chance to explain all the difficulties, and irregularities or inconsistencies with your case to the Ombudsman using the link above. Include all documents, notices, even the call logs for service inquiry with USCIS...everything! Just try!!
