regarding i824
hello everyone,
I have a query regarding i824.My i30 priority date was 08.04.2020 and got approved on 12 April 23.I was told to submit i824 for retained petition send to nvc.The mistake I made on i30 was I didn’t mentioned which embassy I’m going to attend.now it’s been 5 month my i824 process in Texas Center.so my query is that ,is there any way to make i824 get approve fast by showing my case taking too long.can I get any help through other stuff.

waiting for I-824 approval from 9 months in Texas Service Center. I filled on January 6th 2023. I tried to expedite 2 times & contact with the Senators nothing helped. All you’ve to wait. Currently Texas processing times for I-824 is 12 months.

@Shobrina Chowdhury I understand but I saw some of post that they were like they got their approval of i824 through the help of senator.That’s why I’m asking for….anyway could you please tell me the procedure that I can contact with senator

@safat sami yes you can ask for help with the Senator. Contact with your state Senator. You can find the information on goggles. Search for your state Senator & there will be coming the link. There you can submit request about your case issues or whatever help you’re seeking for & provide an email address. after submitting that They’ll be sending you a privacy release form into your email you’ve provided. you’ve to fill it out & send back to them thru email.
